Over the past sixteen years, Ms. Karcey has honed her skills in many aspects of the cannabis industry, including permit acquisition, cultivation, facility design, and environmental optimization. 

In 2015 Ms. Karcey founded Cultivo, Inc., a design consulting firm located in Lake County, CA, where she takes a logical, consistent, and scientific approach when designing cultivation sites. Ms. Karcey combines modern cleanroom technologies, industrial, agricultural equipment, custom fabricated equipment, high-end security systems, and automation technologies to create world-class farms and facilities of enduring value. Ms. Karcey aims to create optimal environments in which cannabis can be grown in a healthy, stable manner, free of pests and pathogens without the use of harmful pesticides and chemicals. 

To date, Ms. Karcey has built, designed, and consulted on farms and facilities in over fifteen US states and three countries.  Ms. Karcey’s current development projects include 60,000 square feet of indoor facilities located in Southern California and twenty-three acres of outdoor cultivation situated in Lake County, California.         

Overall, Ms. Karcey’s goal is to help educate lawmakers, patients, and scientists to implement standards and protocol for the future of cultivation and manufacturing facilities; by maintaining the highest standards of quality assurance to deliver safe, effective medical-grade cannabis to the scientific community for research and development, as well as medical patients in all legal markets.
